If you are a fan of beach wedding vibes, Keelyn and Jarrett’s Myrtle Beach destination wedding will be right up your alley!
I’m not sure that I ever blogged Keelyn and Jarrett’s engagement session (oops!), but it was fun to get back to South Carolina for their Myrtle Beach destination wedding this past September!
You might remember that I also photographed Keelyn’s sister Sydney’s engagement in Myrtle Beach as well as their wedding at the Wallace in Aberdeen.
September is hurricane season here in North Carolina (especially on the coast) and appropriately there was a threat of rain all morning. We weren’t really sure how that was going to work out because the wedding as planned to have the ceremony held beachside… but luckily right before we started the first look everything cleared up and left us dry with nice dramatic skies!
Jarrett didn’t know it, but Keelyn had a surprise planned for him… While he thought he was about to see his bride for the first time he was really getting set up for a first look with – her grandfather 😉 After everyone had a good laugh, we moved on to the ceremony with this stunning macrame backdrop for the arbor. How beautifully boho chic is that???
After the ceremony and some family photos on the beach we packed up and took a short drive over to the Myrtle Beach Train Depot for the reception.
What a fun night! Thank you Keelyn and Jarrett for trusting me to capture your big day!!!
