If you would have asked me just before the beginning of Sydney and Justin’s Cherry Grove Beach engagement session how I thought it would go I probably would have predicted disaster.
Let me explain.
As I sat in my truck, 10 minutes before we were supposed to start our session, it was pouring down rain. I had driven through thunderstorms off and on for the entire drive to Cherry Grove Beach. As I watched the rain pour down from a gray sky I thought to myself, “It’s a shame we drove all this way and now it looks like we won’t get to take photos after all. At least I have hush puppies.” (Because, let’s be honest – food runs my life.)
I called Sydney and she was positive that it was about to clear up so we waited…and sure enough right about the time that we were supposed to start the rain stopped, the clouds rolled out, and we got some beautiful blue skies and an amazing sunset.
All that Sydney had wanted was photos of her and her fiancé on the beach where they vacation every year. Well, Sydney just might be a force of nature because she got exactly what she wanted!
Sydney and Justin will be getting married this Fall at the Wallace Wedding and Event Venue in Aberdeen, NC. They like the outdoors and hiking so I think the Wallace will be the perfect backdrop for their big day. Sydney has such a fun style and an excellent eye for detail. I can’t wait to celebrate with them and photograph their wedding!
