{Southern Pines Engagement Photographer} Laura + Willard – Frying Pan Park Farm Engagement Session

My introduction to Laura after I moved to Virginia went something like this:

My friend Amy brought Laura up to me at the rock climbing gym and said, “Your last name is Tobias, Laura’s dog’s name is Tobias.  You guys should be friends.”  And so we were.

Laura is such a cool person who despite growing up in suburban Northern Virginia has a real interest and passion for agriculture and the outdoors.  When she started working at Frying Pan Park I couldn’t get over how cool of a job it must be to work with so many animals everyday.

Willard is Laura’s perfect match.  They both love the outdoors and both want to work in agriculture.  In fact, they both just moved to Colorado to work on the same ranch!

I am so excited for not just their wedding, but also for their marriage which I know will be great.

For their engagement session Laura wanted to incorporate the farm where she works, and what a blast!  We got to hang out with sheep, chickens, cows – including Sasha who generously gave the milk Laura is using to make soaps as favors for all of her guests.  Laura and Willard’s three dogs also got to be in on the action.  These dogs are seriously the most well behaved dogs ever.

Good luck settling into Colorado Laura and Willard!  I can’t wait for how gorgeous your wedding is going to be.
