Brittany is such a force of nature and her magnetic personality definitely shown though during this family-focused Pinehurst wedding at the Fairbarn.

I did not meet Brian prior to the wedding, but one look at these two together and you could tell that they were a perfect match.

Brittany is the number two over at Chef Warren’s in downtown Southern Pines and she is always busy, buzzing around with her signature red lips and bubbly personality – hence her nickname Queen Bee. She had a gold bee incorporated into her handmade bouquet as a nod to her nickname.

Brian, by contrast, is your typical reserved military man who has a big heart. The touching toasts from all of his groomsmen (who also served under him) were filled with stories about how he genuinely cared about all of those under and around him.

Brittany and Brian also wanted to make sure that Brian’s children were involved in the wedding and that they could all have fun as a new family together. From a bounce house – which the bride went in with the kids – to corn hole and a packed dance floor their commitment to making sure everyone had a good experience was clear.

If you are planning a wedding in Pinehurst, the Fairbarn is one of my top favorite wedding venues! The staff are always so kind and accommodating and the barn provides the perfect backdrop for larger events.

The Fairbarn was a perfect venue for this Pinehurst wedding offering ample space for an indoor ceremony as well as the reception and also giving the couple a chance to say their private vows away from the crowd. The rustic wood of the venue was the perfect counterpoint to Brittany’s blush and gold event design executed by Brady’s Flowers.

Brittany was able to mesh elegance with just a little edge to bring her perfect wedding to life.
