Pinehurst Wedding Photographer – Jasmine + Alex Piedmont Club Wedding
As Jasmine and Alex got ready for a New Year’s party in 2012 they had no idea that they were about to meet the person that they would spend the rest of their lives with. They probably didn’t even know it at the time.
It wasn’t until they reconnected in 2015 due to a couple mutual friends that their relationship took off. They made plans to meet for frozen yogurt, then made plans for the next day too. A week later they were dating.
Six months after they started dating Alex took Jasmine to Great Falls Park for a picnic with some close friends. Little did she know, Alex had already told all of their friends that he was planning to propose to Jasmine that day. After their picnic, they went for a walk to one of the overlooks and as they were leaving the overlook Alex called Jasmine back and got down on one knee. (You can read the whole story and see their engagement photos at Great Falls Park in this post.)
Fast forward to November 2018 and Jasmine and Alex are finally ready to tie the knot!
When I arrived at the Piedmont Club to start photographing Jasmine was already ready to go. After waiting years to marry her best friend she didn’t want to wait any longer!
Before the wedding we did a first look for both Jasmine and Alex and Jasmine and her dad. Jasmine wanted to make sure that she had some special time with both of the men in her life on her big day and I loved getting to see both of their reactions to seeing her for the first time. You can tell from the look on Alex’s face that he was so happy to be getting married that day.
From start to finish, despite a little rain, everything went so smoothly. You could see all of the effort and planning that Jasmine had put into the wedding and everyone had the best time.
Congratulations Jasmine and Alex!!!
