The DIY Bride signature style is what we refer to as “modern maker”. We bring together contemporary, crafty couples who are looking to combine eclectic and diverse inspirations and turn them into something uniquely personal. Our editorial style is fun and casual with a healthy dose of “real world” advice and guidance.
Who are your brides?
Our couples are 27 – 32, college-educated, style-savvy, trend-driven, and armed with solid craft skills. They’re as likely to incorporate do-it-yourself projects as a creative outlet as they are as a means to control their spending.

There’s a lot that can kill a submission but the fastest way is not including enough detail shots.

we receive a submission that perfectly showcases the couple’s personalities, where it looks like everyone is having fun, and introduces us to a new trend or something we haven’t seen before.
