It’s always fun to get to see my couple grow their families. I have photographed Sydney and Justin several times for their beach engagement at Cherry Grove, NC, their wedding at the Wallace, and their stunning waterfall maternity photos at Hanging Rock State Park and now I am equally as excited to be sharing their newborn photos with y’all!
Four all of our previous sessions together we have travelled to places that Sydney and Justin love as a couple. We did their engagement photos at Cherry Grove Beach near North Myrtle Beach because that is where they love to vacation together as a family. Their wedding was in Aberdeen so we kept that one a little more local, but for their maternity photos we decided on Hanging Rock State Park to bring in their love of the mountains. North Carolina and the Sandhills is truly the perfect place for these two to settle down and start there family. They are situated right between both beach and mountains providing endless adventures that I’m sure they can’t wait to share with their new growing family.
For their newborn photos we kept it MUCH closer to home – their back yard to be exact 😉
Photographing newborn photos at a client’s home is great because as anyone who has children knows, packing up a newborn to leave the house can be stressful and time consuming! I still remember being overwhelmed with the shear amount of stuff that seemed to be required for the simplest errand when Michael was a baby. Another benefit of doing the newborn photos at home is that it allowed us to have their pups be a part of the photos too! The puppies are adjusting to having a little human around but they LOVED being able to go outside for a walk and a few photos with us. They even posed like pros.
