Pinehurst Newborn Photographer – Baby Scott

Hello, world.

Meet Scott.  Scott does not like to sleep.

He was so excited for his newborn session that he stayed awake through the entire thing so as not to miss a thing! Lol.  I guess he wanted to make sure that I have lots of practice for when our own little one comes this spring.

I have been photographing Elle and her growing family for years.  From their wedding (click to see the beautiful Little River wedding ceremony and reception HERE) to her first maternity and newborn session and now another maternity and newborn session for their latest addition.  If you missed Elle’s family maternity session at Little River Golf Club you can check it out here.

I was so thrilled to be able to capture the first few days of Scott’s new life, especially since he decided to be rather dramatic and come earlier than expected.

When it comes to photographing newborns sometimes we can get away with lots of cute props and poses, but often I really like to keep the sessions simple and focus more on the connection between the parents and their new baby.  This newborn session was a great chance to do just that!
