I am CrossFit – Kelly P

 

My favorite thing about CrossFit is that it’s something I never thought I would do, never mind enjoy it.

 

I love going in and doing something new or having moments were I doubt myself and then prove myself wrong. It’s making me a stronger person not just physically but mentally too.

 

My favorite lifts/ movements are: HBBS , overhead squat, wall ball, TTB, cleans, and sled push

 

5 words that describe CrossFit for me are : Strength, Confidence, motivation, challenging, perseverance

 

My most proud of CrossFit shenanigan I’d have to say is toes to bar and one handed handstand.

 

Toes to bar because I had to work at it for what felt like forever! My kip still sucks but I’m working on it.

 

I am proud of my one handed handstand only because when I told my husband I was going to do it he kind of giggled at me, not sure if he meant I couldn’t do it or what but either way I went to class that day and did it!

 

My favorite named WOD is Kelly because it sucks.  It was one of the first named workouts I did and I can remember every minute of it being awful! I just remember wanting to quit the whole time but I didn’t, I did the whole thing and hated every minute of it. I have done this workout since RX’d and there was much less hatred and I didn’t want to quit. Now I just have to work on my time.
