I like to give myself assignments for my travel photography.  On some trips I have an idea in mind before I leave, others come to light as I am there experiencing the place.

My assignment for Germany was the latter.  As we were walking around I saw so many unique windows and doors I made that my assignment.   The small details can add so much to the overall story that you are trying to tell through your photography.  Let me know if you have a favorite!
