Muscle cars, whiskey, and red white and blue. This Pinehurst Fair Barn wedding is a perfect fit for a laid back military community that likes it’s pomp and circumstance with a side of rock ‘n roll style.
For this styled wedding shoot we wanted to fuse classic Americana with a little bit of Rockabilly edge.
This vintage flag served as a romantic backdrop for the ceremony that could later be repurposed as a photo booth backdrop. The flowers from Jack Hadden Floral and Event Design were simple and elegant .
The sweetheart neckline gown from Lucy’s Bridal and Formal has a simple elegance with subtle pattern in the skirt and a white tone on tone floral accent. For the groom’s attire we chose a three piece suit and tie all in Navy from Harley’s Tuxedo and Gifts. Keeping the groom’s attire to just one color created a clean, modern look that is almost graphic in it’s simplicity.
The past few years, dessert bars have been a trend in weddings. For this wedding, we gave a nod to the groom and our gentlemen guests by creating a whiskey and cigar bar tucked away in one of the many alcoves of the Fair Barn.
The whiskey bar for this Pinehurst Fair Barn wedding, set up by the Leadmine restaurant, creates a great conversation piece for your wedding along with being something fun for your male guests who often get overlooked.
The cake, designed by Patti of Indigo Earth Events, was a nod to the classic military tattoos and injected just a touch of Rockabilly attitude to this event.
Many modern brides have multiple interests. This combination of classic and rock speaks to brides who like to take a theme and adjust their event with specific touches that fit their personality.
