I have been meaning to write this post about spring cleaning your photos since, well, Spring actually.
I figure if I am behind some of y’all might be too!
The holidays may seem ages away, but before you know it kids will be out of school. Next thing you know it will be fall, then Thanksgiving and we all know that once the holidays roll around nothing gets done. It is best to get a head start of organizing your photos now so that by the time the packed end of the year rolls around you will have a foolproof system for downloading cataloging and sharing all of your precious memories.
We are going to walk through the process step by step over the next eight weeks.
This week we are going to start easy.
All that you have to do this week is gather up all of your pictures.
Do you have pictures on disks stuffed in drawers? Get them all out and in one place.
Same with those shoe boxes full of prints.
Find all of those pictures that are hiding out in your home, on your camera memory card, or in the attic and set them aside in one place.
Then give yourself a high five and check back next week for part 2!
