Starting in 2015 I decided to offer special creative portrait sessions for my birthday.

The idea behind the sessions was to give both me and my clients a special opportunity to do something fun and out of the ordinary.

Last year I offered two dramatic outdoor portraits, a grown-up cake smash, a 4 elements concept shoot, fine art experimentation session, and an abandoned places shoot.

The dramatic location photo shoots were probably the most popular last year, so this year I am offering three new unique locations!

THE SESSIONS

FOAMHENGE

STARTING BID: $75

No, I am not taking us over the pond, but we will be journeying to Foamhenge just outside Natural Bridge, VA!

Foamhenge is a full-size replica of Stonehenge made entirely out of styrofoam in Natural Bridge, Virginia. The structure was created by Mark Cline of Enchanted Castle Studio.

We will day trip down to Natural Bridge, find foamhenge (I’ve heard it is a bit of an adventure to locate!) and have a 90 minute portrait session.  You can take this as far to the crazy or as tame as you would like, but this would be a romantic couples session or a dramatic portrait session.

 

GREAT DISMAL SWAMP

STARTING BID: $75

Seriously, talk about ambience.  Thsi location is very “Lady of the Lake” to me and I can’t wait to go see it!

The Great Dismal Swamp is located near Virginia Beach and is a large swamp area with one of only two natural lakes in Virginia at it’s heart.  It is home to a whole array of wildlife and the striking cypress and black gum trees.

Cape Charles, VA

STARTING BID: $75

This one is for my beavh people.  Cape Charles is the quintessential beach town on the Eastern shore.  This session would be a great way to kick off a couples weekend at the beach!

 

BEST FRIENDS SESSION

STARTING BID: $75

These sessions are super popular with high school seniors, but why should the kids get all the fun?

You will get to choose up to five of your closest friends for a best friends photo shoot.

This session will be a great excuse for a girl’s day!

You can meet up, get your nails done, and have some great fun pictures taken with your besties.

Just because we aren’t in high school anymore doesn’t mean that we don’t still love our friends!

ANNIVERSARY SESSION

STARTING BID: $75

How many of you, like me, don’t have great photod from your wedding day?

This session is your chance to change that (sort of).

I can’t travel back in time, but we can have an anniversary session and create great new images of you and your husband.  You can get back in your wedding dress or we can rent a different dress, but we will choose a beautiful location and create some new portraits for the two of you to treasure.

THE DETAILS

I will only be shooting one of each session and at the end of the bidding timeframe the highest bidder will win the session.

Bidding will begin SUNDAY May, 1st at NOON and will be open through WEDNESDAY, May 4th at NOON.

Starting bids are listed for each session.

Auction is for the session fee only unless specifically noted in the session description .

Any prints, digital files, etc. can be purchased a la carte after the session.
